FAQ
JUPI Preschool is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding public holidays, December 24th, May 2nd, and statutory holidays. We also reserve 10 business days for renovations, organizational and technical work, and unforeseen circumstances, which we have available as needed throughout the calendar year. Whenever possible, we will inform you well in advance of any closures.
We accept most new children between July and September, when the oldest preschoolers start school. However, occasionally, a spot opens during the school year, and we are available to accept your child. To enroll, please complete the form. Then we will invite you to visit the facility. During it, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our facilities and discuss our operations. The final step in enrollment is to complete and submit your signed contract, along with payment of the enrollment fee.
JUPI preschool accepts children from the age of 2.5 until the end of preschool education, which is up to age 7. We also offer a program, where our children receive a preparation for school („zerówką”).
It is the parent’s responsibility to provide all information regarding the child’s medical recommendations. This information is stored in a database, and based on it, a list of guidelines is created that caregivers must follow when working with a child with allergies. The feeding regimen for children with allergies is individually agreed upon with the parents upon signing the contract. Subsequent dietary modifications based on medical recommendations are always possible. Because we run our own kitchen, we are able to carefully care for any child requiring a special diet. Our chef has extensive experience in this field.
Exposure to the outdoors is essential for children’s proper development, so we make sure they go to our playground or take walks around the neighborhood with teachers as often as possible. Daily morning outdoor play is built into our schedule. The only exceptions are high smog levels, which we check daily, strong winds, or heavy rain. Please provide rain gear and rubber shoes for children in milder rain showers. During warmer weather (approximately May to October), after 3:45 PM, we take the children back to the playground, where they are picked up by their parents.
No emergency medications are administered to children at the preschool. Exceptions are made for documented cases of chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes, asthma). Administration of such medications requires a written consent from the parent.
According to our regulations, children with signs of illness are not allowed to be brought to JUPI. Only healthy children are allowed to attend preschool. If symptoms of illness occur, parents are asked to immediately pick up their child from preschool. If a child is brought in whose health condition indicates an infection, the group teacher, out of concern for the safety of the other children, will refuse admission. They may also request a medical certificate confirming that the child has no health contraindications to attending preschool.
No, our facility requires a vaccination card upon registration.
Our facility has its own kitchen, designed in accordance with GHP/GMP principles and an implemented HACCP system. We do not use external catering, and all meals are prepared on-site. This ensures that our meals retain their valuable nutritional value and are fresh – served immediately after preparation – making them very tasty. They are not portioned – children can satisfy their appetites as needed. We have already dispelled the spell of many a picky eater.
The food is balanced, varied, and follows nutritional recommendations appropriate for the children’s age group. We follow the recommendations of the latest WHO food pyramid, which recommends limiting meat consumption in favor of vegetables. The selection of fresh produce is based on reliable suppliers and seasonal availability. A significant portion of the produce is certified organic and eco-friendly. Meat and fish come from sustainable farms (without antibiotics, steroids, or growth hormones). We offer elimination diets, replacement diets, and a vegetarian menu.
